HOW ORIGINCHAIN WORKS

From Origin to Verifiable Proof.

See how OriginChain transforms the origin of a digital asset into an immutable, tamper-resistant blockchain record.

AT A GLANCE

How a Proof is Created

01

CREATE

Creator produces digital work & hashes locally

02

REGISTER

Wallet signs EIP-712 structured payload

03

PROVE

Origin payload converts to SHA-256 proof ID

04

RECORD

Proof anchored to Arbitrum smart contract

05

VERIFY

Public zero-auth audit of proof validity

06

TRUST

Decentralized immutable origin provenance

STEP 01 — CREATION

Every Proof Starts With an Origin.

An asset begins with its creator. Whether it is a digital canvas, software specification, audio stem, legal document, or physical luxury certificate, OriginChain computes a unique binary SHA-256 fingerprint client-side before transmission.

STEP 02 — REGISTRATION

Capture the Origin.

The creator signs an EIP-712 structured domain signature using their Web3 wallet. This binds creator identity, timestamp, and metadata payload irrevocably into an active registration transaction.

STEP 03 — PROOF GENERATION

Turn Origin Into Cryptographic Proof.

Asset metadata and SHA-256 binary hash digest are combined into a standardized Proof Payload. The metadata is pinned to IPFS, generating an immutable content identifier (CID).

STEP 04 — BLOCKCHAIN RECORD

Anchor the Proof On-Chain.

The proof payload is broadcast to Arbitrum smart contracts in an atomic transaction. A block is mined, permanently embedding the proof into the global distributed ledger.

ARBITRUM BLOCK #948102
Transaction Hash: 0x89C4...44D1
STEP 05 — VALIDATION

The Network Confirms the Record.

Validation nodes reach decentralized consensus across the Arbitrum network. Once 128 block confirmations are accumulated, the transaction state becomes mathematically final.

128 VALIDATOR NODES SYNCED
CONSENSUS ACHIEVED (100%)
STEP 06 — PROTECT & IMMUTABILITY

A Record Designed to Resist Silent Changes.

Each block is cryptographically linked to the previous block's parent hash. Any attempt to modify a historical record breaks the cryptographic chain, making silent tampering impossible.

STEP 07 — PUBLIC VERIFICATION

Anyone With the Proof Can Verify the Origin.

No gas fees, login, or wallet connections required. Anyone can enter a SHA-256 hash or Proof ID into the public verification engine to instantly audit creator identity and block state.

PRACTICAL EXAMPLE

See It in Action.

Follow Elena's journey from creating digital artwork to global verification trust.

STEP 01

1. Elena creates high-resolution digital artwork.

STEP 02

2. She uploads it to OriginChain where SHA-256 hash is computed in browser.

STEP 03

3. Elena signs registration with her Web3 wallet.

STEP 04

4. OriginChain generates an immutable EIP-712 proof certificate.

STEP 05

5. Metadata is pinned to IPFS and committed to Arbitrum smart contract.

STEP 06

6. Arbitrum validator nodes confirm transaction in block #948102.

STEP 07

7. A collector audits Elena's artwork on the public Verify page.

STEP 08

8. OriginChain confirms 100% authentic origin match.

DATA ARCHITECTURE TRANSPARENCY

What Gets Recorded On-Chain?

OriginChain optimizes gas and privacy by separating cryptographic proof anchors from raw asset binaries.

STORED ON ARBITRUM SMART CONTRACTS

  • 64-Character SHA-256 Content Fingerprint Hash
  • Creator Wallet Address Signature (EIP-712)
  • Registration Timestamp & Block Receipt
  • IPFS Metadata Content ID (CID) Pointer

STORED ON IPFS / CLIENT DEVICE

  • Decentralized Pinned Asset Metadata (JSON)
  • Raw Heavy Asset Files (PNG, CAD, PDF, Audio)
  • Private Creator Keys & Unhashed Draft Files
  • Local High-Res Original Masters
